ATCHAFALAYA BASIN SWAMP WILDERNESS

The master of Louisiana swamps is the Atchafalaya River Basin, the largest freshwater swamp in the world. The 3,000 square mile Atchafalaya Basin includes swamps, bayous, lakes and rivers.
